It portrays a sense of order, commitment, identity and hence professionalism. That is precisely the basis of military uniforms. On the practical side, it makes deciding what to wear to work simple doesn't it?

- Primarily for identification purposes,
but also it can be to protect their own clothing especially if they have a 'dirty' job
It looks smart to see all staff dressed the same in corporate colours and avoids staff having to
wear out their own good clothing
