Anyone every bought anything from China? How long would it take to ship an item from Hong Kong to the US?

I bought something off of Ebay and its been a little over 2 weeks and Im still waiting for my item to arrive in the mail, anyone ever bought something from Hong Kong on Ebay and an estimated time on how long it should arrive?

Most genuine companies that ship out of Hong Kong will state which method of posting they use and supply you with a tracking number so you can check on the progress. Delivery can be as long as 28 days as it has to go through two lots of customs. Depending on the item you may have to pay import duty. Small items are usually marked as "gifts" and get through customs with no problem.
If you have not got a tracking number then I'd email and ask for one. If you don't get a reply then I'd start to worry a bit.
I buy computer parts and the odd piece of camera equipment from China.
Can you say which company you are buying from (Use the "Add Detail" to update your question)
