Hi - does anyone know of a service Yahoo offer for international buying transactions? it protects buyer & sell?

We have been offered the chance to buy something from abroad. the seller tells us that Yahoo offers a service whereby they will hold the payment until we tell them we are happy with the goods and they will then release the funds to the seller. If we are not happy with the goods, we return them and Yahoo releases the funds back to us.
I've not heard of this before - has anyone else?

Hi Sharon - I have been offered a bargain price for a car recently but details of the VIN number did not match the vehicle. The seller was in Spain and gave me the same information regarding the Yahoo international transactions service, which I have never heard of. If you have any further info please share...!......
