Aion Billing method 10 points?

Resolved Question

Aion Billing method 10 points?

I heard that it was a pay per play thing but now it is a WoW type monthly subscription method? And also i have a beta account, Do i need to upgrade it to full to play it on the 25th?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

Yes, its a pay per month. After the game comes out in your area you get 24 hour grace period to apply your retail code (if you didnt buy from ncsoft) and put in your credit card or other info for them to charge the monthly pay to.
On the day the game is released, if you do not put in your retail code in 24 hours, you will not have access to the game any more until you apply the retail code. Report Abuse

How expensive a web design can be?

Resolved Question

How expensive a web design can be?

I needed a web design, so i contacted a web designer. I told him to give me a quote as to how much this going to cost. You know how much he is asking for this web design/project?

I know, even if you build as online shop, this won't cost any more than $500-1000 the most i think.

And he is asking for $6000!

What do you think, isn't this kind of scam? I think he is asking for too much.

What are the cost range of the most expensive web designs??

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters

they can be quite hefty, why not create your own? theres a really good site called yola that helps you build one yourself and its free. they look good, ive got one myself

  • 6000 does seem expensive, but 500 is far too cheap

Designing websites is time consuming, especially if you want a lot of pages and content in it, and even more so if you want to included safe E-Commerce-that is a large piece of work

I'd suggest $1200 is a good price for a basic website, but the fancier and more complex you want it to be, the more expensive it will be

Best always to get a least 3 quotes from different web design companies and take it from there

Hi - does anyone know of a service Yahoo offer for international buying transactions? it protects buyer & sell?

Resolved Question

Hi - does anyone know of a service Yahoo offer for international buying transactions? it protects buyer & sell?

We have been offered the chance to buy something from abroad. the seller tells us that Yahoo offers a service whereby they will hold the payment until we tell them we are happy with the goods and they will then release the funds to the seller. If we are not happy with the goods, we return them and Yahoo releases the funds back to us.
I've not heard of this before - has anyone else?

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters

Hi Sharon - I have been offered a bargain price for a car recently but details of the VIN number did not match the vehicle. The seller was in Spain and gave me the same information regarding the Yahoo international transactions service, which I have never heard of. If you have any further info please share...!...... Can someone explain this to me regarding Royal mail lost item compensation?

Resolved Question

Can someone explain this to me regarding Royal mail lost item compensation?

I sent an item and it may have been lost by the post office I sent it first class recorded I have pasted this off their site does it mean you get a maxium of £35.00 compensation or £35.00 and lower market value?

The Item I sent was worth £95

For stamped and metered items a postage refund plus compensation on the basis of actual loss, where evidence of posting and evidence of value can be provided. This compensation is subject to the maximum payable being the lower of the market value of the item and statutory maximum of 100 x 1st Class stamps at the first weight step.

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters

You need to have a "Proof of Postage", something you can ask for free at the Post Office when you send it, and some sort of evidence of the item's value. Usually, you tell the Post Office Clerk the value of the item when you send it, for insurance purposes, and this should be on the PoP.
If you have these, you can claim back the value of what was lost.

If you don't, or turned down the offer of extra insurance (this is usually implied by your answer to the "is it valuable?" question), then I believe the maximum you can claim is £36.

Ring up customer services for more information. Contact details can be found on the RM website via Google.

In business terms what do you call the money that you spend on materials and expenses?

Resolved Question

In business terms what do you call the money that you spend on materials and expenses?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

It depends on the purpose for which it was purchased.
If the material is for production it is termed as ' raw material '
If there are number of raw materials used in the production line then
raw material X' ' raw material y like that.

If the material is for office use like stationery - term it under stationery
if it is small quantity which will be used within this year term it as expenses.
It is grouped for our convenience to have management control and also to ascertain exact profit at the end of the year.

  • Materials falls into the category of "Cost of Sales".

Expenses is a bit of a general term. If you mean something like travel expenses they would usually appear as an overhead item but if you mean direct labour i.e. the labour used in production to actually produce components that would also fall under "Cost of Sales".

How do I go about making "projected accounts" in a business plan for a grant proposal from my local authority?

Resolved Question

How do I go about making "projected accounts" in a business plan for a grant proposal from my local authority?

I'm trying to launch my own computer repair company and I will be running it from home on a sole trader basis. My expertise is in computers I have no idea about accounts.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

I'm assuming by "projected accounts" you mean a list of customers you suspect you'll be able to land. If so, it's fine to just add a paragraph to your business plan saying something like "The following list identifies 10 (or however many) potential accounts I anticipate obtaining during the first year of operation." and add your rationale for believing you'll be able to pull these accounts.

You can make this a lot more compelling if you can get "letters of intent" from those accounts, where the individual or business owner gives you a letter saying that it's their intention to use your service once it's available.

When calculating your anticipated business volume, revenue & expenses, however, don't count your chickens before they hatch. Just because there are 10 high-probability prospects doesn't mean you'll get all of them. Be very conservative with sales estimates.

  • Like the boots advantage card, you collect points when you shop at places that accept nectar cards and you can then use the points to get discounts on other things. Very similar to a Tesco club card. There free to get and use. They have no credit facilities and you cna't use them to borrow money there just a loyalty card!

Are care/nursing/residential homes a business?

Resolved Question

Are care/nursing/residential homes a business?

Are they in the private sector or a national service etc

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

The vast majority are in the private sector, yet they do accept non private patients from local authorities that don't have the room and/or facilities. It is an immensely profitable business and with an ever increasing number of a working age population, the future looks very profitable for them.

Other Answers (3)

  • It depends which country you are from. Most countries they are in the private sector. Most countries have at least some state run hospitals. Other places where there is a health insurance system there are private hospitals where the treatment cost is borne by the insurance plans. The other part I guess is about care centres for senior citizens there are all kinds state-owned, run by private chariatble trusts and privately owned.
  • Private mostly.
    and damn good money too
  • yes,both types

How can I get the best exchange rate when I convert chf to gbp?

Resolved Question

How can I get the best exchange rate when I convert chf to gbp?

I need to send a regular sums of money from Switzerland to my bank in the UK, but the last time I did this my bank in the UK converted the CHF to GBP at a pretty bad rate, so what with that and the bank charge for the transfer it was not a very good deal.

Is there a better way to do this where I can get a better rate? My bank has a huge difference between it's buy and sell rates.

I'm working in Switzerland, but need to pay mortgage and bills in the UK.

Resolved Question

Bought a new (pre reg) van from a renault dealer, heavily discounted.have to wait 4 months for the log book.why?

list price was £16000. plus vat..got it for £9995 plus vat ...70 miles on the clock and pre registered to the dealer.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

I have bought two renaults this way, the vehicle is originally registered to a car hire company and the logbook remains with them in their name, I think that to get cheap vehicles to the likes of you and me, they have to 'own' for a certain amount of time before they can 'sell' them to you or me. (even though we already have possession) its the only way to buy, OK youre the second owner on paper but mine only had 5 miles on clock. I wonder if I could get a ferrari that way?

Where could I find informations regarding "pavement maintenance" by a local authority?

Resolved Question

Where could I find informations regarding "pavement maintenance" by a local authority?

As I have tripped over a dislodged slab of pavement (3 centimetres high) and broke my spectacles.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

Good luck!!

Assume you are in UK - my 84 year old mother in law tripped over a paving slab which was fully raised. She was really badly hurt (broken nose, badly grazed chin and forehead and sprained wrist) - smashed her specs and her dentures. Had the full A&E report which we sent to the council and got absolutely NOTHING.

They said that the paving slab in question did not contravene anything and, when we went to see, it had been repaired although you could still see the bloodstains. Therefore they would not pay for repairs to glasses or dentures. In fact, they were really rude - even said that her age contributed to the fall! The A&E report stated that she was in excellent health for her age!

I strongly advise you to take a couple of photographs of the offending paving slab.

I m gonna a have compulsory redundancy i have one child and wife ,she doesn't work what benefits would i get?

i m gonna a have compulsory redundancy i have one child and wife ,she doesn't work what benefits would i get ?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker

depensing on wether you get a redundency pay off, if you get more than £6,000 you will not get ANY benefits, you will be expected to live off of your redundency money.

If you get less than £6,000 but over £1,000 you will be able to get income based ESA, this will reflect on what u have earned in the latest tax year, any tax credits your wife is getting will alos be classed as income against this ( i was told this yesturday at an A4e pathways meeting linked to the jobcentre ) if you get no pay out you will be able to claim income based jobseekers allowance, housing and council tax benefit until you find another job, if its your own house and u have a mortgage you can get help towards paying it but they will not pay all of it.

You should be entitled to full tax credit help until your back into work, then you will have your payments adjusted.

dont think by not telling them you will get more money because they ask for proof of everything
