The bank doesn't care and won't do anything. The positive is that you used your VISA card for the transaction. Access your VISA account online and dispute the charge. You may have to provide supporting documents such as the receipt and proof that you attempted to contact the merchant along with the merchant's response. If you have a good credit history then VISA will issue the credit to reimburse you. If your credit history is questionable then you will get a provisional credit until an investigation is complete. They have a checks and balances process to determine if you're lying or trying to scam VISA.
In the future, don't use the debit card - always use a VISA or MASTERCARD credit card for on-line purchases. They are very simple to dispute and track transactions.

- Dispute the charge with your VISA company. I believe that they are only liable if you use a credit, not credit card, but it's difficult to know what else you can try, and what have you to lose?25% 1 Vote
